i was thinking i would be having a hysterectomy because of all the pain i have with my periods. that and i’ve been on a period for 30 days running now. will a d and c make the cramps stop? they said i have a fibroid in my uterus. help?

abdominal hysterectomy / total hysterectomy?

admin i just found today that i have fibroid tumors in my uterus and i have an enlarged uterus because of them . the doctor said that my uterus is the size of a 12 week preg. and that i need a hysterectomy ! are there any women out there who has had this done ? im just trying to get info and see other womens advice ! i am a 30 y/o woman and im sorta scared too . ! i know its not life threatinging but just the thought of my whole reproductive being removed is a lil scary !
i also had a tubal done back in 97 so the use of my baby making is no longer avalible , so maybe a hysterrectomy is the best option for me ?
am 6 weeks pregnant.i have no symptoms like nausea, vomiting etc.living normal life.do i need to worry bout it
May 14th, 2011 admin last time when i was pregnant there were not any symptoms like vomiting nausea etc.so doctor said it is not good if u r not feeling like that.i m also having thyroid and fibroid in my uterus.after 2 months miscarriage happened.so this time when i m pregnant again i mm not having any change in my feelings.medicine is continuing for thyroid.so do i need to worry again.?
